Here of concern is how will poor resource Kenya mitigate any negative effects due to GMOs. Pls the world need to help Kenya we are beinmg used as guinea peas. I am not saying that all GMO consumption is healthy or beneficial, but I am saying that the crops available for consumption to the public are NOT harmful. The crops tested in controlled experiments are however extremely volatile and potentially dangerous. That is why they are being tested. Through the use of safely tested crops, ie most of the corn in production, pesticides have become a thing of the past and the benefits for the environment are immense. The plants are resistant to pests on a genetic level thereby making harmful protective chemicals unnecessary.
