Greetings West Coasters - 

This is just a quick announcement to remind you that we will be closed Monday May 30, 2022 to honor Memorial Day and all the military personnel who gave their lives protecting and fighting for us. 

Practically, this means that West Coast (or 4 day) orders will not be able to ship out until the following Monday June 6, 2022. If you would like to expedite your shipping, please give us a call at (330) 893-2734 so we can get you options and pricing. 

Memorial Day is a very solemn holiday for me and I would like to share a story with you to put into your heart and provide a little perspective for this coming weekend.

I have volunteered with a Christmas choir for about 8 years now and one of the places we go to bring holiday cheer is a Veteran's hospital/retirement home. 

A few years ago while we were performing there, our leader asked the crowd if anyone had any requests. And this shaky, but proud old veteran lifted his hand and so our leader approached him and asked him what he would like to hear. This soldier took a moment to work his way to standing from his wheelchair and then with his head held high he requested that we sing Silent Night for the many young friends he personally lost while on the shores of Normandy. 

We all stood a little straighter at the honor of this request. And as we sang silent night, this veteran sat back down, held his head in his hands and weeped silently. 

With tears in our eyes, we sang this song to honor the people who gave their lives and this humble veteran who has spent his entire life mourning and living for those who didn't make it. 

So yes, please have fun and spend time with your families. Make time to rest. But also, let your heart be grateful. This nation certainly has its challenges but the opportunity to work through those challenges was bought with the lives of countless men and women since our country's birth. 

May we walk out this gratitude on Memorial Day and all days.
