Your Order Update & More!
Hello Family!
This is not the heartfelt Thanksgiving blog I had wanted to write but I wanted to give all of you waiting on your orders some information and to offer my most sincere apologies for the delay. I honestly feel absolutely terrible about the way the last few weeks have gone and I just want to give you the scoop so you understand our challenges.
Right after our largest sale of the year we lost a handful of employees at the worst time imaginable. It was due to personal issues and car troubles and more and so we went into "let's get it done" mode even though we are short handed. Honestly, I can't say it enough, every single person at Berlin Natural Bakery has been giving their absolute all in trying to get bread baked, packed and shipped and it's been incredibly hard as we do everything by hand and quite frankly, we need more hands!
And then, right at a critical moment, we ran out of White Spelt flour! Being completely transparent, this was my fault. I took over ordering the flour and grain and as it's my first Cyber sale with this responsibility. I did not have enough on hand for the humongous spike! A painful lesson learned, no doubt.
But even with everyone here going above and beyond, we are more behind than what we would like to be and certainly more behind than anyone is comfortable with. We know you hold us to a high standard and quite frankly we do the same for ourselves and it's been heartbreaking to not be further along in this process.
I apologize for this. I know this is not in any way what you have come to expect from us. I am sad I do not have better, more concrete news for any of you but I felt you deserved the truth as it's what we have committed ourselves to - doing what's right even when it isn't easy.

WOW!! I’m not a customer, was looking at Facebook reels and came across your info, I am a small business owner also and totally get how sometimes we may miss a detail of our business. I commend you for your honesty and hard work. I will be placing an order but I’ll wait a bit and let you and your team rest and try get caught up. Just remember nothing easy is worth having and anything worth having isn’t easy.
