It was just announced last week that Earth Fare will be closing its doors and we were just as shocked and disappointed as anyone. 

We've been working closely with Earth Fare for the last few years as they had really championed our specialty dessert breads like our Spelt Angel Food Loaf, our Pumpkin Streusel Spelt bread and our Gramma Moser's Zucchini bread. 

All three of those items haven't been picked up and carried by many stores so it was very exciting for us to be able to get our sweet and tasty baked goods available on a large scale for people who may never have even known we existed! 

In fact, I like to think of those products as a gateway to learning about Spelt, small batch baking and ultimately, about us, Berlin Natural Bakery! 

Which is why the news of Earth Fare so suddenly closing its doors hit us hard. 

However, Earth Fare may be closing its doors but Berlin Natural Bakery is still alive and kicking and baking bread - dessert breads AND our limited ingredient, nationally renowned sliced Spelt breads!

We're committed to helping every Earth Fare customer turned Berlin Natural Bakery fan in whatever ways we can. Starting with providing as accurate of a Store Locator as we can. To find a natural health food store near you: check here. 

If you can't find a store that carries our breads near you - don't worry! There is an incredibly good chance that with Earth Fare shutting down that local health food stores as well as large natural retail chains will be looking to support and accommodate the many displaced Earth Fare shoppers. 

All that to say: SPEAK UP! 

The time is right to be open and vocal with whatever health food store you plan on calling home from now on as they will be taking requests very seriously in an effort to win your business. 

So don't be shy. Our breads are available for stores and chains to order from us directly or through the commonly used distributors: KeHE and UNFI. 

And ultimately, if that doesn't work then you can always order from us directly. We made this option available many years ago for people across the country who don't have a natural health food store near them who desperately needed access to our breads. 

You can order from our online store or give us a call. We can ship directly to your home or if you are local to our area (Berlin, Ohio) you can now order online and pick up your order from us. 

Please know though, that it is our HEART to support our retailers (aka brick and mortar stores). So please try your local health food store first because we really don't want news like Earth Fare closing its doors to be common.
